(TORONTO) – The dress rehearsals are over and the Marlies have a few days left to prepare for the curtain rise of the 2006-07 American Hockey League season.

Fussey opened the scoring for Toronto mid way through he the first period banging in a loose puck in front. Booth tied the game less than a minute later. Engelhardt put Toronto up 2-1 late in the period when he deflected a point-shot in front of Jean-Marc Pelletier.
