Hamilton Downs Toronto 2-1 in Overtime at Air Canada Centre

The Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, defeated the Toronto Marlies by a score of 2-1 in overtime this afternoon in front of over 16,000 fans at Air Canada Centre.

After a scoreless first period, Bulldogs forward Joonas Nattinen gave his team 1 -0 lead at 9:59 of the middle frame. The Marlies would tie the game at 12:20 of the third period on a powerplay goal from T.J. Brennan. Hamilton defenceman Greg Pateryn notched the game winning goal at 3:53 of the extra frame.
