D'Amigo Overtime Goal Gives Toronto 3-0 Series Lead

The Toronto Marlies defeated the Chicago Wolves, AHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, by a score of 4-3 in overtime tonight at Ricoh Coliseum. With the win, the Marlies now hold a 3-0 series lead in their best-of-seven Western Conference Semifinal.

T.J. Brennan would score the games first goal early in the first period on the power play. Chicago forward Dmitrij Jaskin would tie the game at one before Peter Holland scored Torontos second goal of the night less than a minute later. Adam Cracknell would once again tie the game with less than two minutes left in the opening frame only for Torontos Brandon Kozun to notch his 3rd tally of the playoffs just 11 seconds later. Tyler Shattock would score the only other goal in regulation to send the game into overtime. Torontos Jerry DAmigo notched the game winning goal at 3:28 of the first overtime period.
