Hamilton In Hamilton, and only if the penalty shot worked out, it could have been Hat Trick For Hamilton In Hamilton. Another offensive outburst by the Marlies in a victory, and this one was a biggie! They needed that win over the Bulldogs if they want to keep third place in sight, and they certainly stepped up to the plate. That was the best game by Ryan Hamilton as a Marlie. He scored twice, including the game winning goal, he blocked shots and he even had a fight. All he needed was the assist for the Gordie Howe hat trick. It was a gritty effort that didn’t go unnoticed. Tlusty and Williams also found the back of the net, and Giliati made a great play for his goal.
Now, it’s back to work for another tough divisional battle with the Griffins back at Ricoh. This team will remember that 10-5 loss and it will be front and center in their minds, so expect the Red Wings affiliate to come out swinging. Looking forward to what should be a great game in front of a big crowd, so let’s keep the Ricoh Rocking!
Puck drop is 4pm on the FAN 590 and Rogers TV.
