In it's third season Meet Me at the Marlies prepares to make 2010-11 the best yet, offering fans some of the biggest prizes our team could come up with. With each ticket providing a seat in the VIP suite, appetizers, a meal, parking, Marlies swag and the opportunity to meet a Marlies player after the game, Meet Me at the Marlies (MMatM) offers the ultimate experience for every Toronto hockey fan.
With the season's next event being held this Saturday, January 22nd, during the RogersTV broadcast of the Toronto Marlies vs. Peoria Rivermen, MMatM will be giving away a Marlies Press Experience. This one-of-a-kind experience will bring one lucky fan out to take part in a Marlies game as a member of the media. Take in the morning skate, sit in the press box for the game and ask a player your questions after the game concludes.
And as many know, prizes are never limited to just one attendee. Laura and Chansler also have a pair of Leafs tickets to award to one lucky fan. To ensure no one is left out, inside every Marlies swag bag is an autographed picture from one of your Toronto Marlies.
Journey to the upper level of the arena and and join Laura and Chansler to watch on as the Marlies square off against Peoria (AHL affiliate to the St. Louis Blues) from the largest VIP suite at Ricoh Coliseum where appetizers and an early dinner will be served. Post game, MMatM participants are lead downstairs into Marlies alley for a private meet and greet with a Marlies player where everyone will have the opportunity to ask a question, take a picture and get an autograph.
Tickets are $60 and the event is open to fans of all ages. With only a limited number of seats available, call Wayne Young of the Toronto Marlies sales staff to reserve your ticket at 416-263-3540 and quote promotion code #6868662.
So come out, join the party, meet some other hockey fans and show your blue-and-white pride. Enjoy the game and the meal and the prizes - and have your question ready for when you meet a Marlies player.
