Brian Burke, President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Friday that goaltender James Reimer has been assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League (AHL). The Maple Leafs recalled him from the Marlies most recently on December 17. He made his first career NHL start, and got the win, by making 32 saves on 33 shots at Ottawa on January 1. Reimer won four straight road games for the Maple Leafs from January 1 to 11, stopping 143 of 151 shots in that span. Overall with the Maple Leafs this season, he has four wins, two losses, a 2.26 GAA and a .933 Save Percentage in seven appearances.
