Matt Frattin is Named to the AHL All-Star Roster

The Toronto Marlies announced today, forward Matt Frattin has been added to the Western Conference AHL All-Star Classic Roster.
Frattin, 25, makes his first career AHL All-Star Appearance. The 6-0, 200-pound native of Edmonton, Alberta has registered 17 points (9 goals, 8 assists) in 21 games so far this season. Prior to turning pro, Frattin posted 119 points (64 goals, 55 assists) in 153 games at the University of North Dakota.
The Marlies return to the ice tomorrow night when they travel to Cleveland for a 7 p.m. game against the Lake Erie Monsters, AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche. Toronto returns home on Saturday when they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, AHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, at 5 p.m. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling the team’s ticket line at 416-597-PUCK (7825).
