Marlies Add Three to Training Camp Roster

The Toronto Marlies announced Wednesday, they have signed forward Michael Neal and defenceman Zach Yuen to training camp tryout agreements. The club also signed forward Wade MacLeod to a PTO.

Neal, 24, appeared in 46 games for Orlando (ECHL) last season, registering 32 points (12 goals, 20 assists) and 22 penalty minutes. The Whitby, ON native was a fifth round draft pick (149th overall) of the Dallas Stars in 2007.

Yuen, 20, skated in 71 games for Tri-City (WHL) during the 2012-13 season, posting 43 points (9 goals, 34 points) and 58 penalty minutes. The Vancouver, BC native was a fourth round draft pick (119th overall) of the Winnipeg Jets in 2011. 

MacLeod, 26, split time between Springfield (AHL) and Evansville (ECHL) last season. The Coquitlam, BC native posted 11 points (4 goals, 7 assists) in 20 games with Springfield along with 7 points (6 goals, 1 assist) in 5 games with Evansville last season.

The Marlies open their training camp at the MasterCard Centre this morning at 10 a.m. Toronto will begin their 2013-14 regular season with a game against Grand Rapids at Ricoh Coliseum on Saturday, October 5.
